Occupational Therapy

An Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapist assistant will plan and conduct an individualized occupational therapy program in your home, to help you develop, regain or maintain your ability to perform daily activities. The Occupational Therapist/Occupational Therapist assist will study, evaluate and record your activities and progress, according to your plan of treatment ordered by your physician.

Some skilled services that your Occupational Therapist will provide to you are as followed, but not limited to:

  • Instruction and evaluation of the safe use of DME
  • Low vision therapy
  • Instruction of daily living activities
  • Instruction and assessment of energy conservation techniques
  • Instruct and improve safety in the home
  • Instruction of restorative exercises
  • Instruction and assessment of restoration of balance and posture
